While working at Weitzer Company, Asmund was the  designer and construction project manager for the Tenant Improvement (TI) of the SE Portland location of the Growler Guys - a NW growler filling station franchise . Asmund worked with the clients to develop a strong design and identity for their location. The design and construction had to be closely coordinated with the building owner (Grand Central Bowl building), the Growler Guys franchise ownership, and the City. The project was completed spring of 2014.

The centerpiece of the space is a bar with a backdrop of the walk in cooler featuring taps for 48 different beers. The cooler is wrapped in a screen made of Beetle-Kill Pine (a salvaged wood from pine beetle infested forests) with integrated video screens showing off the variety of beers available. The 24' bar top is made of two bookmatched live edge slabs of the same material.
